Pacers' Danny Granger out for up to six weeks
Some bad news for the struggling Pacers. One of the best players on the team will be out for up to six weeks.
The team said Tuesday that Danny Granger will miss a minimum of four to six weeks with a torn right plantar fascia. Granger will not need surgery and will start rehab immediately.
The 26-year-old forward was injured in the third quarter of Saturday's game at the LA Clippers.
At 6-12 so far this season, Indiana is at the bottom of the Central Eastern Conference standings. Losing Granger, who's been averaging 24 points per game, will be a challenge for Coach Jim O'Brien.
