David West scored 26 points to lead the Hornets to a 101-96 win over the Indiana Pacers in preseason action from New Orleans Arena.
Chris Paul tallied 23 points and 15 assists for New Orleans, which shot 46.1 percent (35-of-76) from the floor. Peja Stojakovic added 12 points and Morris Peterson posted 10 points in the victory.
Danny Granger led the way for Indiana with 20 points, while T.J. Ford totaled 14 points and Troy Murphy finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. The Pacers made good on 7-of-23 attempts from beyond the arc, but struggled at the foul line (19-of-25).
