Charlotte Bobcats to open season Oct. 27 at Dallas
Reaching the playoffs for the first time didn't help the Charlotte Bobcats' television appeal.
But the Bobcats' schedule does include a favorable end-of-season stretch of home games.
The 82-game slate released Tuesday has Charlotte opening Oct. 27 at Dallas. The home opener is two days later against Indiana.
The Bobcats will face powerhouse Miami at home on Jan. 3 and Feb. 4. The Los Angeles Lakers visit on Feb. 14. Stephen Curry and Golden State come to town on New Year's Eve at 3 p.m.
The Bobcats will host Houston on Nov. 26 on ESPN2 in Charlotte's first appearance on the ESPN networks since Dec. 2007. Charlotte's season finale on April 13 against Atlanta is scheduled for ESPN.
The Bobcats close with seven of their last 11 at home.
